The Development Engineering Division provides essential services for development projects within the City. We support development projects by:
- Reviewing and approving improvement plans and grading plans.
- Preparing “Conditions of Approval” for all development projects.
- Reviewing and approving parcel and subdivision maps.
Development Engineering also issues Grading Permits for commercial, custom lots, and subdivision projects.

Monday - Friday: 9am to 3pm
Check the necessary items required for reviewing grading plans, improvements plans, maps, and lot line adjustments before submitting.
Our goal is to deliver new infrastructure that follows City Standards and meet resident's needs.
The West Placer County Storm Water Quality Design Manual requires stormwater and trash controls for applicable new and redevelopment projects.
